It must have been a chilly year as there was an abundance of uber layering and toasty warm coats. The overall palette was fairly mute with loads of platoon green, soft greys, mustard yellow, black and khaki being the dominant colours.
Military, grunge, velvet and plaid look like they are the emerging trends for next winter, so don't throw out your old Nirvana t-shirt just yet! Also, if you are investing in a winter coat this year, look for a structured military design that will keep you on top of fashion for a few seasons to come.
