If it's Good Enough for the Fox ...

As a big big fan of socks with shoes, I cannot tell you excited I was to again see this trend on the runway for the RTW Fall 2010 shows (which is our winter 2011).  
This look is a great alternative to boots, plus you stay toasty warm while looking amazingly, up to the minute fashionable.

Whenever I am at a shoot or styling a client, I use every opportunity to pair socks with shoes ...

This look is not as weird or tricky as you may think, but in order to get the look right, you're going to need some specific socks, not just your old pair of explorers!   The Sock Shop in the Walk Arcade Melbourne has a fantastic selection, you may also like to try stores like Sportsgirl, Dotti as they usually have the up to the minute trends.  Even Myer & DJ's can have an interesting assortment of socks to choose from.

Next time you reach for your boots to wear with your pretty dress, stop ... and try on a pair of socks instead.  The fashion lover inside your heart will thank you!
