NYFW #1

Fashion weeks are always exciting for me.  I love the colour, the drama and the excitement of each new collection.  Fashion Week Ready-to-Wear Spring 2011 kicked off in New York, then will move to London, Milan with the finale in Paris.   I'll post some of my favourite looks from each week.


NEW YORK 
I wait on the edge of my seat for each Marc Jacobs collection.  He is my favourite designer and I have such loyalty to him that he could quite literally send a naked model down the runway and I would wholeheartedly believe that he had in fact made the emperor's new clothes.


His latest collections for both Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs were certainly not disappointing. Both shows had a healthy smear of 70's groove, which is just the way I like it!


The black white and yellow striped dress (third from the left) is my prediction for the most copied dress of the season.  Expect to see many main stream designers be influenced by this style.

Here are just a few of my favourite looks from New York Fashion Week. 


I've never seen so many nipples on the catwalk!  I guess this is a sure sign that 'sheer' fabrics will be very popular next summer.  Enjoy x
