The only benefit of a Little Black Dress is that they are so nondescript no one will notice that you've worn it to every event since 1983 - and by the way, no one noticed you either!
Yes, black is great for hiding little lumps and bumps, however it also hides the detail of the dress. Do you really want to fade into the background? Do you?
I know this is a touchy subject with many of you black lovers out there, and I'm not saying that you can't wear black. Even I wear black .. occasionally. However with so many wonderful colours available, why wear black??
