One of the huge trends to be seen on the recent Ready To Wear Fall 2010 runway (that's Australian winter 2011), was Platoon Green - which in official colour terms will be called Woodbine (Pantone 18-0538), and Dried Herb (Pantone 17-0627).
As you would imagine, this colour was shown primarily in military inspired pieces in drill, wool and heavy style fabrics.
To get a jump on this trend, scour your local op shops and camping / army disposal stores before the prices go up and stocks are depleted!
Just to be clear, this look is sleek and modern and will not work with your combat boots and cargo pants. If this is the look you like, then perhaps you need to stop reading this blog and volunteer for service.
