TO DO
- Always wear fitted clothing - not tight - just fitted. Baggy or big clothes can swamp your frame and make you appear not only bigger than you are, but shorter too. Basically, avoid clothing that will add 'bulk'.
- Dress in thirds. By this I mean, make sure your tops and jackets either finish at your hip or your knee, and make sure your pants go to the floor.
- V necks are great for elongating your neck, and therefore adding the illusion of height.
- Your jeans and pants should be as long as possible without dragging on the ground. This will give the appearance of longer legs - even with flat shoes. Dark denim is also a good option.
- Keeping your outfits to one or two colours keeps your overall look simple.
- Wearing necklaces and scarves that fall or tie at your mid bust or below help to elongate your frame.
- Wearing clothing that finish around your mid thigh will visually cut you in half and make you appear shorter.
- Crop pants will always make you appear shorter than you are - that goes for everyone!!
- Avoid clothing with horizontal stripes or heavily patterned clothes.
