How would you describe your style?
Feminine, ladylike, structured and polished.
How would you describe your current wardrobe?
My wardrobe is full of pretty things, great colours, comfortable dresses and fun shoes and accessories.
What difference has having a stylist made to you?
I feel empowered. It has helped me to define my own style which helps me to feel confident and comfortable with my clothing choices. I have a lot more fun dressing and I feel great. Growing up I always liked to look nice but I never felt fashionable. It's a whole different story now! My boundaries have been pushed! The biggest change is that I now make an effort to look great every day and I really enjoy dressing and dressing up.
What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
A silk shirt dress and a 60's style check dress. Both were way outside of my comfort zone, and I didn't buy them on my first shopping trip, but went back to purchase and now they are my favourite pieces. Every time I wear them I always receive positive feedback from friends and even strangers!
What do you love about fashion now that you didn't before having a stylist?
I now love shoes, make-up and accessories and have even subscribed to a couple of fashion magazines, which I never read before! I also feel completely comfortable knowing that there will always be something in the stores to suit my shape ... not that I ever want to shop on my own again [laughs].
What was your biggest fashion disaster?
I used to try and look edgy, but ended up just looking like a cup cake [laughs]. My favourite outfit used to be a patchwork lace skirt, embellished top, lace cardigan and leggings - all pink! It used to be my favourite outfit but I couldn't imagine wearing it now.
Well Bronwyn, your willingness to embrace your new style makes you an absolute delight to work with. Your wardrobe is now completely versatile and packed with feminine chic styles.
