I'm Being Followed by an Eye-shadow...

Fashion is my first love, but beauty products will always be my dark master.  I suppose it comes from working in the industry for over a thousand years.  I may have just exaggerated.

What orders from the beauty counter my lord? What does the Eye[shadow] command? 


... and now I have just outed myself as a huge Lord of the Rings nerd (oops).

Anyway ... my latest obsession is hot off the press!

Just released in Australia, MAC's Colorizations Double Feature Eye Shadow compacts in eight great colour combinations.  Just in time and perfect for the crazy colour that will be upon us this spring.

Priced at $55 they are great value.  (A single eye-shadow is $33) If you are familiar with MAC, you will know their eye-shadow is highly pigmented, meaning it gives great colour that lasts.

Not one to shy away from colour, I especially love the Double Feature 1, 3 and 8 and have promptly added them to my shopping list.

Given that the colours are equally strong, you can use either one as a base colour on the lid and the other as an accent along the crease / outer lid.   That's two completely different looks from one tiny palette!

Watch these products in action, although remember that it's OK to use just 2 colours if you wish.
