Can't do a full knit? Then try a colour blocked scarf.
SNAP!
Australian stores are notorious for being 'inspired by' designer and overseas designs. I guess they forgot that we have the little ol' thing called the internet.
I saw a woman wearing the Chloe wrap a few weeks ago - it was absolutely fabulous in real life. Sadly, she didn't appreciate me cuddling it.
And finally, here's a picture of my sister, circa mid 70's wearing her own colour blocked knit. We called this the elephant jumper, as it had a row of small elephant buttons near the shoulder (hidden under her hair).
And if you lived in Melbourne in the 70's, you'd certainly recognise the striped cardigans favoured by Sharpies. Proving that what is old, will certainly be new again ... eventually.

Interesting how Country Road colour splice for their "supposed market" of 19 - 35. And then their Trenery label for 40yrs plus, designs horizontal stripes which are so not flattering for people over that age carrying perhaps a few extra kilos around the torso? I think MARCS have it in the bag, so where is the best place to get that label Meagan?
