Firstly, New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art held its annual Costume Institute Gala a few days ago. This year marked the opening of an exhibition devoted to late designer Alexander McQueen. This event, with its hand picked guests, is always a fashion lover's delight.
As expected, many celebs paid tribute to McQueen by wearing his designs head to toe. Here are a few of my favourites.

Giselle was a highlight in a show stopping red McQueen gown. Also pictured is the lady of the moment, Sarah Burton (also in McQueen).
So many amazing frocks, so many beautiful women. Here are a few I liked the most.
Closer to home, the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week is in full swing in Sydney. The twitter universe if going crazy with attendees tweeting images and descriptions of each show.
Two colours I've loved seeing on the runways are soft mint green and lemon yellow. I wouldn't say they were all over the runways, but there was enough to keep my gelato brain happy.
