Style Farm: I love the smell of mothballs in the morning

It's no secret that I am an avid OP shopper. I use OP shops to source products for photo shoots, as well as picking up myself some vintage and not so vintage bargains. Apart from the general fun of OP shopping, I bloody love Nanna's in OP shops! Having a chat is all part of the great experience.

Here are a few things I've picked up over the past few weeks...

I've been on the look out for a suitably daggy [ergo awesome] bag for a while now to use as my camera bag. I couldn't believe my luck when I came across this amazing old bowls bag (left) for a mere $40. The top operates just like a doctors bag and will house my camera nicely. The best feature is that the top hinges open to reveal a perfect compartment for my lenses and other equipment. It came filled with bowls, which I donated back to the OP shop to re-sell.

You all know how much I love vintage coats by now, so I was thrilled to pick up yet another coat in perfect condition for just $8.00. I also bought two more pleated skirts, three pairs of high waisted pants, a sheer shirt and a beautiful backless black dress [that I used on a recent shoot],

I have an idea for a 50's style shoot which will be set in my friends original 1950's kitchen, so I have been collecting some vintage style underwear for this purpose. The 50's style bullet bra on the right is amazing. Of course I had to try it on ... it really does round 'em up and point them way out in front!!
