That's my second fibula break, and the fifth bone in total that I have broken. You could say I'm accident prone. Although in my defence, each break was somewhat spectacular or unusual in occurrence. Luckily it's my left leg, so it doesn't affect driving (both car and sewing machine).
But enough about me and onto fashion!
So what does one wear with a broken leg? Anything I can pull on without screaming or passing out is fairly high up on my criteria list, obviously. But apart from this, all outfits must be fashioned around flat shoes. FLAT SHOES! For at least the next SIX WEEKS!! *sigh*
Now I like flat shoes, it's just that my heel to flat shoe ratio is around 4:1. Naturally I'm trying to see the bright, and in this case it's ... SHOPPING!
These are the shoes that are on my wish / consideration list.
Given it's winter, and I usually have cold feet, I like a lace up brogue or similar so I can wear them with socks. What are your favourite shoes to wear in winter? With or without a broken leg!
Currently living in biker boots (Estilo Emporio if you're interested ;) Easy to get on/off, flat so great for busy days with lots of running around AND.. the bit I love.. they have a fuzzy lining so they are incredibly warm and comfy!
ReplyDeleteHave been swapping to other shoes occasionally so the current obsession doesn't completely ruin the boots but it's week 6 and the love affair continues.
Are your creepers really 'flat' shoes? They look great but I think the risk factor is higher than true flatties. Lace-up brogues are gorgeous but pull on ankle boots are doing it for me at the moment :) The Acne ones you picked out are my pick from your selection.
