This murky mix of blue and green has been popping it's little head up all over town.
After being featured on many runways during the Fall 2011 season, Deep Teal made it's way to the Pantone Fashion Colour Report Fall 2011. (The dates get confusing, but since we are theoretically a season behind the northern hemisphere yada yada yada). Deep Teal is warm and rich, making it a perfect colour for interesting textures such as suede, lace, silk jersey or faux fur.
Wear it with ... a shocking contrast colour, a colour of similar tone, or a neutral tone.
I adore this colour, but wearing it near my skin makes me look quite ill, so I choose accessories and nail polish to satisfy my teal-i-ness!
Over the coming weeks, I'll be focusing on the many winter colours featured in the Pantone Fashion Colour Report Fall 2011. Watch this space.
