Another Day, Another Shoe

A short time back, while attending and photographing the Stonnington Spring Fashion Runway event, a little pair of white platform shoes caught my eye.

So naturally I decided to go on a shoe hunt to find the new objects of my affection.

Like many of you, I like to do my previewing online before I head into the stores to save time and energy.  But these little suckers were evading me!  (Don't you hate when online stores take a while to show their latest collections?  That's a blog for another time me thinks).

My search was beginning to look destined for disappointment, but just moments before I decided to sell everything and move to an island rather than exist in a world without these shoes (yes, this may be an over dramatisation), I happened upon a Nine West store and there, sitting on the front table, gleaming in the light, were 'the' shoes.

Although I was with a client and not able to purchase at the time, they have been written, in pen, on my shopping list.  I think they would be perfect for the races with that nice navy Lisa Ho dress I have in mind and a Nicholas Wilsdon millinery creation.
