What colour do you wear with red?  (please don't say black, please don't say black, please don't say black), well if you have to wear black, at least break it up with another colour.  Nude shades are a good option.

Are you red-y to wear red?   Here are some suggestions of colours to wear with red.  The first column is safe and easy to wear.  If you are a little more adventurous, choose a colour from the second column, and if you are confident with colour, try a suggestion from the third column.

When my baby's walking down the street
I see red, I see red, I see red.
How could someone wicked walk around free
I see red, I see red, I see red.
I see red, I see red
(red!), I see red.

  1. I LOVE red. Whenever I'm feeling like I need a bit of oomph in my day, out comes something red.

  2. Love the "don't say black" bit... it's such an evocative colour combination that I always try to avoid. We must be on the same wavelength, I've been taking photos of red things to do a post on it too! Another blogger told me ages ago that red helps to channel creativity which is why I love it, but it's hard to find exactly the right shade. Oh, also as you know I loved your macrame necklace, and found an amazing macrame brand the other day, have you heard of Sollis? Photos here..
